Making the inconvenient convenient

Everyone leads a busy life. Do you need help making time to visit us? We are pleased to offer our clients a daytime admission service- so you can drop your pet off at our clinic and run errands while we check up on your pet. Dropped-off patients may spend as little as an hour or as long as all day with us.

Daytime admissions are great for routine visits in which the patient is problem-free. They are also suitable for extended workups like glucose curves in diabetic pets which require long time gaps between sampling of serial laboratory specimens. We can see healthy pets needing an annual exam and those that may be sick. For the sicker patients, it allows us to monitor vitals, initiate IV fluid therapy or administer other medications if needed.

We help you get some of that time back, taking the hassle out of bringing your pet to the practice and waiting around.

Day-time Admission Questionnaire

Our clients may use the drop-off service for routine veterinary services including:

  • Health checks / physical exams

  • Vaccinations

  • Micro-chipping

  • Blood and other samplings

  • X-rays (Digital Radiographs)

Payment

Pay the day-time admission fee of $55 ($40 exam fee plus $15 drop-off service fee) in advance of or at the time of your appointment.

Booking

Request the day-time admission appointment online, at the clinic or by phone. After you make the booking, you will complete the day-time admission questionnaire at the top of this page at least 24 hours before your appointment. This is used to tell us everything about your pet as you would if you are speaking to the vet. Please be detailed and specific as much as you can.

Drop-Off

Drop your pet off to us in the morning between 8:15 to 9 am, Monday to Friday. Please take along your pet's vaccination records, medications or anything of medical interest, and home comforts like: toys, food, blankets and beds.

Pick-up

Pet pick up time is before 5 pm.Your pet needs to be picked up on time. Boarding charges will apply if your pet remains overnight.

We may contact you for additional information before we attend to your pet.

Once we see your pet, we will call you at a convenient time to discuss the examination and any necessary follow-ups.
